Generally iTrack has prepared a Plug and Play GPS device, meaning once you purchase the unit, it can immediately be activated and monitored from http://itrack.iqios.com by entering the IMEI number as written on the device.

However, should you decide to use your own GSM card and re-setting all the configurations, kindly prepare the following:

Ensure GPRS is already active in that GSM card

Kartu Halo/Simpati: Type SMS: GPRS and send to 6616
Matrix: Type SMS: ACT{spasi}GPRS and send to 888
IM-3: GPRS automatically activated
XL (Xplor/Bebas): Call call center 817 for activation
Other GSM operators are not recommended because of their limited range

GPS antenna to be placed in an open space with direct, un-obstructed view-of-the-sky (tinted window not allowed)
Strong GSM and GPRS signal in that area
